Iridium Satellite Tracking Collars

The SpoorTrack Iridium Satellite Collar is an Iridium satellite animal tracker collar weighing as little as 250g (for 50cm collar). They are equipped with an internal battery and a high-efficiency solar charger, ensuring the battery never runs out. Even when the sun does not shine, it is able to harvest the smallest amount of solar energy, making it suitable for use even in dense bush/forest areas. They include a VHF transmitter with frequency and other settings configurable via Iridium. They are suitable for many other species with a neck circumference between 30cm and 150cm.
